Recently the UK Government made some huge changes to Internet laws which could massively affect VTubers experiences on Social Media with ID and facial checks now becoming the new norm being given to private companies this could present an issue for VTubers who are notorious for being anonymous as well as could affect more VTubers doing “Other” work as well and could spur the start of a decrease in new VTuber debuts as well as current VTubers giving up their accounts to keep themselves safe from private companies that are super susceptible to breaches and other nefarious acts which could expose a VTuber in the future.
