Recently VTubers have been discussing a new VTuber trademark made by a company trying to have control over the term “XTuber” which they claim is a VTuber that does virtual content as well as using IRL content and doing things like conventions in person which many VTubers have been responding to including Vexoria because this has already been a thing for a very long time now and many VTubers have been clowning on this company for trying to say that this is some new endeavour that they’ve coined when it’s actually a pretty normal part of a lot of VTubers streams and content with some of the biggest VTubers on the platform already doing IRL content and IRL meetups which have been successful for them and can still continue to do so despite the trademark.
